Essex, February 2026 — Con-fused, a specialist electrical compliance company operating across Essex and Greater London, has launched a same-day EICR certificate service for landlords, homeowners and property managers. Customers can now book an inspection, have a qualified engineer attend the property, and receive their completed Electrical Installation Condition Report certificate — all on the same day.

The service is available immediately across seventeen areas, with locally based engineers available for same-day dispatch. All inspections are carried out by NICEIC-registered engineers in full compliance with BS 7671, the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Certificates are issued digitally on the day of inspection.

The launch addresses a longstanding frustration for landlords and letting agents, for whom multi-day delays in receiving an EICR certificate have routinely caused hold-ups to new tenancies, property sales and mortgage completions. Under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, all private landlords are required to hold a valid EICR and provide a copy to tenants before a tenancy begins. Certificates must be renewed at minimum every five years or at each change of tenancy.
